Huntington Pointe is a gated community located in Palmer Ranch (a master-planned community located in Sarasota, Florida). It is ideally located near the corner of McIntosh Road and Tamiami Trail, only minutes from restaurants and shopping including Costco, Target, Lowe’s, and an AMC Movie Theater, just to name a few.
Huntington Pointe is made up of 202 single family homes, most of which back up to a lake or forest preserve. Most of these homes were built in the early 1990’s and many have private swimming pools.
While Huntington Pointe does not have a community clubhouse or swimming pool, the community association does own some common property, including the streets, lakes, and grassy areas in many of the cul-de-sacs. Yearly homeowners association fees are among the lowest in Palmer Ranch.
The association board is made up of five members who are elected to two-year terms by the homeowners. The Social Committee holds social events almost every month. New residents are welcomed to Huntington Pointe by the Welcoming Committee, which provides important information to new residents in a welcoming packet. The Communications Committee distributes a quarterly newsletter electronically. The Architectural Review Committee assists residents with maintaining beautiful homes and yards, which contributes to the community’s park-like setting and adds extra value to every home. These are just some of Huntington Pointe’s eight committees, which are comprised of more than 30 volunteers from the community.
The combination of small size, low fees, beautiful setting, and friendly residents make Huntington Pointe a highly desirable Palmer Ranch community.
